Sarasota Wealth Management Firm acquired by National Company

The national company Mariner Wealth Advisors has signed a binding agreement to acquire Allegiant Private Advisors from Sarasota. Allegiant will take on the name of Mariner Wealth Advisors when the deal closes later this month.

Allegiant serves nearly 500 clients with nearly $ 1 billion in assets under management and offers services ranging from estate planning and risk management to education and retirement planning.

Mariner now has more than 360 financial advisors in 46 offices and has completed 23 acquisitions since its inception. Allegiant becomes the company’s third Florida office. Effective Sunday August 1, Benjamin Jones, the current President and Chief Investment Officer of Allegiant, will take over the title of Managing Director at Mariner and will continue to lead the Sarasota office.
