TAMPA, Florida. – If you are looking for a tropical disco paradise in Tampa, look no further than Luv Child in South Howard.
Love Child is a Latin-Cuban concept from the Ciccio Restaurant Group. The decor is colorful and funky, and goes with the Latin American and 70s theme.
They offer plant-based, vegan, and gluten-free options. Choose from plates and combinations of rice, beans, and protein of your choice, as well as sandwiches and burritos. The Big Papi comes highly recommended as one of the fans’ favorite sandwiches. It consists of crispy mojo pork, yellow peppers, garlic aioli and poblano queso.
The Luv Child also has an all day coffee trolley where you can enjoy cappuccino, filter coffee, iced coffee, espresso and much more. They even incorporated their fresh coffee into some of their cocktails, like the Cuban X-press-O Martini or the Peanut Butter Pick Me Up Old Fashioned.

The restaurant has specials throughout the week, including happy hour every day from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., ladies night specials on Thursdays after 5:00 p.m., and tacos worth $ 2 on Tuesdays. They recently started a drag brunch in April that will take place every last Saturday of the month.
At night, the restaurant turns into more of a bar, usually with a DJ and room to dance.
