CareerEdge provides grants to fill the abilities hole and construct corporations’ expertise pipelines

Resilient Retreat receives a grant from the Love IV Lawrence Foundation

CareerEdge will launch its annual Request for Proposal (RFP) on Monday March 22, soliciting plans from manufacturing, healthcare, insurance professionals and construction companies in Manatee and Sarasota counties. CareerEdge looks for grant applications that show that, once approved, a company is using funding to hone its skills and accelerate promotions for incumbents while promoting job creation. Over the past 11 years, CareerEdge has invested nearly $ 13.2 million in corporate grants, which has been offset by investments from employers and other funders.

Employers can apply for grants ranging from $ 15,000 to $ 50,000 to conduct training programs lasting up to 12 months. Employee wages are reported for two years after the training is completed. Interested companies must submit a letter of intent by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 [email protected]. Those selected to apply for funding will be notified by mid-May.
